PRESS CONFERENCE: Ohio Civil Rights Groups Demand Justice After Violent Hate Crime in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH — On Thursday, April 10, the Columbus and Cincinnati Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Ohio), along with State Rep. Munira Abdullahi and partner organizations, will host a press conference to demand urgent action from the Columbus Division of Police following a violent hate crime targeting a local family.The press conference comes in response to a brutal attack against an Ohio mom in Columbus. Despite the violence of the assault, its clear racial motivation, and video evidence, no arrests have been made.
